Curry Udon Recipe

Today I want to share tips for making curry udon. For those who like to eat udon, of course, have definitely tried eating udon curry.

The curry udon is the udon dish which in my opinion is the most rich in taste compared to other udon dishes, because the seasoning is made from a variety of spices that are extraordinarily delicious.

Instead of you eating at the restaurant continuously, it’s better to try the following curry udon recipe, so you can eat curry udon whenever you want.


  • 10 Siung Bawang Merah
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 Ginger Finger Section
  • 2 Turmeric Fingers
  • 10 Red Chili
  • 200 ml of water
  • 10 Cardamom Grains
  • 2 Lawang Flowers
  • 3 Sheets of Orange Leaves
  • 5 Cut the Galangal
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Curry Powder
  • Sugar & Salt to taste
  • Chicken Broth to taste
  • 200 cc Liquid Coconut Milk


1. Put it in a blender of 10 cloves of onion, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 segment of ginger, 2 segments of turmeric, 10 red chilies, and don’t forget to add 200 ml of water. Blend until the spices become smooth.

2. Heat a frying pan and pour a little cooking oil. Sauté the seasoning that has been blended before, then add 10 grains of cardamom, 2 flowers of star anise, 3 pieces of orange leaves, 5 pieces of cracked galangal, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder tea, chicken broth to taste, and don’t forget to add sugar and salt to taste. Mix well.

3. Add 200 cc coconut milk and cook using low heat while constantly stirring so that the coconut milk does not break. Cook until the texture thickens.

4. Add udon that has been soaked in cold water and put it in the curry seasoning. Cook until the udon is yellowish and cooked.

5. Udon is ready to be served.
